How would you like an instant list of 10,000 or even 40,000 prospects to send your emails to immediately? I’m sure that being able to email this many people is definitely of interest to you, and I know that many of you don’t have a list of your own just yet. In this case the best way to get an instant responsive list is to advertise with ezines. Though this isn’t always a free method, it can definitely be worth your time and money.
There are two ways to take advantage of this type of advertising. The first would be to place top sponsored ads which will appear either before or after the body of the newsletter. These are usually somewhere between 3 and 5 lines long. It is important to test a couple of different variations in order to find one that converts best. The price for this type of ad tends to be on the lower side, though it can depended on the number of subscribers of the particular ezine.
The second type of ad is a solo ad, which is your typical email advert. These tend to be more expensive yet are often more effective. It”s also important to test your copy here as well, so I like to test emails with free listbuilders or safelist to find one that converts well. I figure if it is converting well with a free listbuilder than it has a good chance of converting with a quality responsive ezine list.
This is a great way to essentially rent a list until you are able to build your own. It’s also a great time to refine you copy writing skills which is something you should be practicing at all times. So go out there find some ezines in your niche and start taking advantage of this great marketing tactic.
Happy Marketing!

Thanks for the article, Angel. I am getting my e-mail marketing system up and running this month, finally!
wow…that's good idea..so, i can learn many thing from you..
success to you
thank you
Thanks. Was an eye opener.
List building is very important. It is also important to test your advertising before going the expensive route without going to a link farm as that will reduce your ranking and reduce your chances for better traffic.
Interesting Angel, I'm still a beginner when it comes to list building. But I do use a number of the free safelists as you mention in your article.
Cheers
Kevin
