It amazes me how many excuses people use to justify why they quit and throw in the towel. I’ve heard everything from nobody helped me to I don’t have the time, or simply it’s too hard. For those who know me well, you know that I am all about justifying my actions good or bad, and sadly it’s a shortcoming I have yet to overcome.
However, I don’t believe in giving up on something that I have started, especially when I am as passionate about it as I am about building my network marketing business. So when I hear others telling my why they can’t possibly be successful it makes me sad. I want everyone to have the same passion and drive that I have so that we can all be successful together.
I also find it interesting that people have this need to ask permission to be successful. They look to their upline or their mentors to give them some sort of ok when they should be looking to themselves. Though having a mentor is great, you don’t need nor should you ask for someone’s permission to be all that you can be. When you give someone else the ability to tell you no, it weakens your ability to find the inner strength that you need to succeed.
All I’m saying is that you have to decide for yourself that you are going to be successful. Not that you MIGHT be but that you WILL be. Find the motivation that you need to give it your all and stick with it to the end. Understand that you are going to have setbacks but just remember one of my favorite quotes “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work!”

Being the World Champion in justifying my own actions, it's nice to know that I can share my title! Seriously, I really like the quote "I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work!" Remember, 10,001 might be your lucky number! It gives me hope!

I think people give excuses because they are still caught in the trap. What I mean by that is they are used to doing what their parents told them to do, then their employer and lastly their spouse. It just take a little guts and willpower to take a stand on their own. unfortunately some will never do anything on their own but thats ok too.
We can only be successful to degree we are willing to let go of mistaken beliefs. When we experience lack or failure it is because of the limitations in our own minds.
I completely agree, it's up to us to decide what we want out of life.
