I completely agree with what you say, unfortunately spamming works.

Within the area I live we only have a few marketing types, one in particular is a constant spammer. If I visit a local business pages wall they are there, with their post recent copy/paste and throwing their message everywhere humanly possible, however…..it’s working for them.

They are getting more brand awareness and new clients than us types who like to do things the ‘right-way’, I don’t believe in it, but it works for them

Great post. Like you I’ve learned to stay offline in Chat even though I am logged in. I don’t get why so many ppl waste their time spamming their business to you. It’s such as waste of time. they’re better off linkbuilding, or building real offline relationships.
