Interesting post. We always seem to be trying to outguess Google and respond as quickly as we can!

If fresh content and updates is going to be given more weight in future, then surely it will be much easier for blogs to rank than static sites? I’ve had static sites for years – but have fairly recently started moving a lot of these to WordPress, and I’m seeing good results. so I think that your theory holds water.

A few weeks ago, I got CommentLuv and it has really increased the number of comments that I get on my blogs. It’s a great plugin which benefits the blog owner and the person leaving the comment. A true win-win!

I have certainly be paying attention to the changes that’s happening with Google and the search algorithms. You’ve obviously seen and heard of Ryan Deiss’ Perpetual Traffic Formula. Did you invest in his program? I did and it’s absolutely fantastic.

Great tips for getting people to comment on your blog and get that activity pumping… Seems to be working for ya too.

Excellent advice Angel…thanks so much. I have noticed as I get incredibly busy and "neglect" my site now and again my articles quickly fall off the first page of google. I have known intuitively that what you say is the case but over the past 6 weeks I have seen these things to really be true by personal experience. Hi Angel great Blog interesting to see how Google is evolving its ranking systems.
