3 Free Traffic Methods That I Bet You Aren’t Using

free traffic methodHave you been burned out from writing article after article only to see little results?

Is Twitter becoming more of a hassle to keep up with than it is a traffic stream for your business?

Are you actually even tired of spending hours upon hours on Facebook?

Don’t feel bad if you’ve answered yes to any of these questions. You’re not alone!

For many internet marketers, finding good free traffic methods is something we’re always on the lookout for.  It’s a constant search to find a way to generate quality leads for free with the least amount of effort on our part.

Though if you’ve been slaving away at any of the methods already mentioned, then you know that it’s easier said than done.

So here are 3 of my favorite free traffic methods that you probably aren’t using already…

1. Ebook Syndication

Have you ever realized just how many ebooks you’ve downloaded and have sitting on your computer? If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a ton of them!

So if you think about it, someone had to write these things, and why couldn’t it be you? The quickest way to get an ebook written is to simply repurpose articles and content that you already have.

You can use OpenOffice which is a free program comparable to Word, and simply create a document and save it as a PDF. Remember to put in links to your website in the footer of each page and the last page as well. This is how you’re going to use it to drive traffic to your site.

Then you can simply submit it to ebook directories and start generating traffic. Just do a search for “free ebook submit” and you’ll find tons of places to get your ebook out there.

2. Podcasting

If the thought of creating a podcast scares you, don’t let it. It’s not nearly as difficult as it seems. The quickest and easiest way for you to create your very own podcast is by once again reusing content you already have. If you have created a training video of some sort that you have submitted to video sites, then you can simply remove the audio from that video and repurpose it as a podcast.

You could also use the free program Audacity to record a short audio, which could simply be you reading off one of your articles. Then submit the new audio to free podcasting sites around the web and watch as traffic hits your site.

3. Thank You Banners

This one is all about getting other people to send you their traffic, which is one of the best kinds of free traffic methods. You do need to have a banner made that promotes some sort of free offer that people can get by opting in to your site.

If you can’t make one yourself, then you could use a site like Fivver or 99designs to get one made for you. Then send emails to marketers that offer free products that take people to a thank you page for downloading.

A large majority of marketers, especially the non-guru types, aren’t fully utilizing their thank you pages, which is a great place to give customers more stuff.

So ask these marketers if they would be willing to place your banner on their thank you page. (If you can give them an affiliate link so they will benefit as well, you’ll have a better chance of them saying yes.)

Well, now you have 3 free traffic methods that you can go out and use to start generating floods of traffic to your site today. Have fun!

Would you like 40,000 subscribers today?

How would you like an instant list of 10,000 or even 40,000 prospects to send your emails to immediately? I’m sure that being able to email this many people is definitely of interest to you, and I know that many of you don’t have a list of your own just yet. In this case the best way to get an instant responsive list is to advertise with ezines. Though this isn’t always a free method, it can definitely be worth your time and money.

There are two ways to take advantage of this type of advertising. The first would be to place top sponsored ads which will appear either before or after the body of the newsletter. These are usually somewhere between 3 and 5 lines long. It is important to test a couple of different variations in order to find one that converts best. The price for this type of ad tends to be on the lower side, though it can depended on the number of subscribers of the particular ezine.

The second type of ad is a solo ad, which is your typical email advert. These tend to be more expensive yet are often more effective. It”s also important to test your copy here as well, so I like to test emails with free listbuilders or safelist to find one that converts well. I figure if it is converting well with a free listbuilder than it has a good chance of converting with a quality responsive ezine list.

This is a great way to essentially rent a list until you are able to build your own. It’s also a great time to refine you copy writing skills which is something you should be practicing at all times. So go out there find some ezines in your niche and start taking advantage of this great marketing tactic.

5 Ways to Build Your List’s Responsiveness

I’m sure you have heard that in order to succeed you should build a list. However, it is not necessarily the number of people who are on your list, but rather how responsive they are. You want to build a list that will take action when you make suggestions. So, I will give you a few pointers on how to build a better list that will in turn help boost your profits.

1. Personalize Your Emails

One of the easiest ways to help increase your emails effectiveness is to use personalization. Your prospect will be more inclined to open it if they feel it is directed to them. Plus it makes them feel as if you really connected by simply calling them by name.

2. Brand Your Emails

Just as it is important to use your prospect’s name, it is equally important to use your name as the sender. You want to get your prospect used to seeing your name and to be able to recognize your emails on sight. This is all part of branding yourself.

3. Stay in Contact With Your List

The whole point of building your list is to build a relationship with your prospects so it is important to stay in contact with them. Some will say to send them everyday, but I know that the idea of writing that many emails is daunting. So try and have about 30 emails planned out and send them every 3 or 4 days. This way they will be used to getting your emails and they will be looking for them.

4. Give Great Free Content

One of the best ways to build trust is to give your readers great free content. You should be giving your prospects tips and tricks on whatever your subject may be. The more free content you give away, the more your prospects will look to you for answers. Thereby making it easier for them to buy from you when you make suggestions.

5. Share special promotions or offers

A great way to show your prospects you are there for them is to offer them some kind of special discount or promotions strictly for them. Give them a reason to want to stay on your list. Show them that they benefit by being on your list, and that they get special treatment because of it. It’s not quite a bribe but it’s close!

Tips on Choosing a Free Autoresponder

If you are into online marketing then I’m sure you have looked into getting an autoresponder. In the new landscape of online marketing autoresponders have become absolutely essential to your success. However, if you have been pricing them lately you may have decided you should go for a free service instead. In some cases, using free autoresponders is acceptable and it is always to better to have one than not at all!

When looking for a free service you should first consider the autoresponder that may come with your web hosting account if you have one. These tend to be fairly easy to set up and will not have advertisements added to your messages. You will also be able to use it from the same control panel as your website which can be very convenient. However, if you don’t have a web hosting account, or if your account doesn’t include an autoresponder service, then there are other options that may suit your needs.

If you do a quick search on Google for free autoresponders, you will surely come up with quite a few.
These services are able to offer their services for free because they make their money by placing advertisements in each one of your messages. These messages can appear at either the top or bottom of your message depending on the service. The problem with this is that it may be an ad for a company in direct competition to you.

Another option is to use a free version of a paid service. These free versions may or may not containing advertisements, so you will want to read through their policies. This way you can try it out, see if your list grows, then decide if it is worth spending money. Though these free versions are often limited in their features and you may have to upgrade to get the full potential from the service. Another thing to think about it that many of these free services limit the number of subscribers you can have. So once you hit a certain numbers of people you will have to upgrade to continue to grow your list.

So all in all, it is up to you whether a free service will work for you. If you have a small list, or have a very small budget to work with than the free autoresponder services should work just fine. However if you want to truly explode your business, which is all in the list, you will need to consider upgrading to a paid service. I hope this was helpful!
